More laptop manufacturer is jumping into the mini laptop race. Asus Eee PC is the first who release their mini laptop, then comes WIND from MSI, followed by Aspire One from Acer, and now Dell is going to release their first low cost mini laptop.
The low cost mini laptop has not been officially announced, but is instead just having a few pictures leaked from Gizmodo's site. According to the site, the new mini laptop from Dell was spotted during the interview with Michael Dell at All Things D.
The model name and the price of the laptop is still unknown. All we can know now (through visual speculation) is the laptop has the following features/components: 8.9-inch screen, USB ports, a card reader, VGA output, Ethernet, and that red candy shell. Rumors has says that the new mini laptop from Dell is going to be run on either Ubuntu or XP operating system, with Intel’s new Atom 1.6GHz processor, and the price of around $500.
The new mini notebook from Dell will be giving more tough competition to the UMPC market.
